his may be the nicest small city in all of Mexico. Sitting astride the wide and beautiful Rio Grijalva just outside of Tuxtla Gutierrez at the point the Cañon de Sumidero begins and with a hot, dry climate, what a charming place. We just had lunch on the river bank and what a nice experience as the soft breezes embraced us off of the wide and pleasant river. Tonight we are staying in the Hotel Los Angeles just off of the main plaza and what a nice place with secure parking for $420XN a night.
